Spiti Group Tour

Day 01        Arrive Shimla and Drive to Narkanda/Rampur.

Arrive Shimla by overnight bus. After fresh up start your journey to Narkanda/Rampur. Drive through Kufri , Fagu on an amazing stretch of the old Hindustan-Tibet (aka old HT road).
Reach Narkanda/Rampur by afternoon. On arrival check in to hotel.

Day 02          Drive to Chitkul
After breakfast with a view of the mountains head to Chitkul. Drive through an amazing stretch of the old Hindustan-Tibet (aka old HT road) – the Tranda Dhank (cliff). Chitkul is the last village on Indian side on the Indo–Tibetan border. The village of Chitkul is like something from a fairy tale, and you will have a chance to walk slowly around it.

Day 03          Drive to Kalpa
Take the morning easy, have your breakfast and explore Chitkul. After spending some time in Chitkul You will be driven to Kalpa. Visit Suicide point, located on one of the toughest mountain roads in the country.

Day 04          Drive to Tabo
After breakfast you will be driven to Tabo. On your way you will notice the terrain change and you will see the end of tree line. Also witness the confluence of Spiti and Sutlej river at Khab.
Enroute visit Gue Monastery: Home to Old Indian Mummy. Gue is an almost isolated habitation with no other village in view, but what makes it famous is over the 500- years-old mummy of a Buddhist monk.
On arrival check on to your homestay. Tonight you will get your first experience in a local Spitian homestay.

Day 05          Drive to Kaza
After an Early morning breakfast, visit the “Ajanta of Himalayas”- The Tabo Monastery which is close to a 1000 years old now.
Later you will be driven to Kaza. On your way visit Dhankar Monastery, if the road is open – Dhankar used to be the Seat of the King in ancient times- the most beautiful setting for a monument, which hangs on a cliff and overlooks the confluence of the Spiti and Pin rivers. you will be driven through Pin valley. Pin valley is the least explored valley in Spiti region of Himachal Pradesh.

Day 06          Tour of Kaza
Start your day by sending a postcard from the World’s Highest Post Office. Next, visit the World’s Highest Village connected via motor-able road, Komik. Mesmerized by the views of the Chau Chau Kang Nelda Park and The Buddha Statue at Langza. Also visit the world-famous Key Monastery, situated at a height of 13,668 feet. With over 1000 years’ worth stories to tell, Key Monastery was founded by the discipline of the famous Atisha in the 11th century CE. Finish your day by visiting Chicham Bridge – The Bridge is at a staggering height of13596 ft.

Day 07          Drive to Chandratal
Take one last stop at another Spitian wonder – Chandratal Lake. The mystical and beautiful Chandratal Lake, which translates to Moon Lake, is located at a height of 14,100 feet. The Chandra Bhaga mountain range forms a striking backdrop for the lake, which changes appearance according to the pictures painted in the sky. After capturing the colors of the beautiful Chandratal Lake, we drive to our camping site where a hot supper under the gaze of a million stars and the Milky Way awaits us.

Day 08          Drive to Manali and Depart
Enjoy a nice, warm breakfast with a view of the Chandratal lake and head to Manali. Reach Manali by afternoon. Explore the town of Manali

Later board you overnight Volvo bus back to Delhi

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • In case of cancellation for group from organizer side, due to any unavoidable circumstances, we will try to transfer the booking in other group departure (if client deny opting for transfer of booking to other group then there will be no refund). Else, we will refund 100% amount deposited.
  • In case of cancellation from client side, after the registration at any point of time, then in that case there will be no refund.

  • Rain coat/Wind proof – A Must thing. Even if it’s not raining it will save you from cold winds, mud
    and water on roads.
  • 2-3 Jeans / Track pants (If you want more comfort) and 3 to 4 T shirt.
