Dzukou Valley Tour with Kaziranga

Day 1        Arrive Dimapur and Drive to Kohima.
On Arrival, you will be received and transferred to the hotel.
Rest of the day is at leisure to explore the nearby area on your own.

Day 2          Kohima Local sightseeing
Excursion to Khonoma Village and Kohima World War- II Cemetery After breakfast visit The Kohima War Cemetery constructed in the memory of the officers and soldiers who made supreme sacrifices during World War II, the war cemetery attracts hundreds of visitors every year including the relatives of those martyrs. Maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, the cemetery witnessed more than 2000 graves, on each grave there are beautiful epitaphs carved in bronze. “When You Go Home, Tell Them Of Us and Say, For Your Tomorrow, We Gave Our Today.
Later proceed for Khonoma Village, that lies 21 kms away from Kohima town the Khonoma village is the first “green village” of Nagaland. The village is well known for the legendary leader Angami Zapu Phizo who was the founder of the Naga movement. Evening is free for leisure. .

Day 3          Dzukou Valley Trek
Start early in the morning by 6 - 6:30 am, drive 25 Kms to Visema village, after a steep uphill climb of about an hour and a half, (Approx. 4 hours total to reach the valley).
Spend a few hours in valley, surrounded by lush greenery and streams. Return in the evening, reach by 4:30 - 5 pm.

Day 4          Drive to Kaziranga

After breakfast check out and drive to Kaziranga National park, a world heritage site famous for the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. The landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes and shallow pools.
Kaziranga also has a good number of Tigers and is home to large breeding population of Elephants, Wild Water Buffalo and Swamp Deer.

Day 5          Morning Elephant safari + Drive to Guwahati

Morning, we set out for an Elephant safari through the western range of the park, where we will have further opportunities for wildlife sightings. Kaziranga is not only renowned for its wildlife but also for its beautiful landscapes, and you will be enchanted by the serene beauty of this region.

After breakfast you will be driven to Guwahati airport for your flight back to home.
