TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01 Arrive Kochi and drive to Munnar (130kms/4 hr).
Today you will be picked up from Kochi airport/railway station and driven to Munnar.
Kerala’s only hill station, lies at 1524m (5029ft) above sea level, on the Western Ghats. The town is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams and the name Munnar means three rivers. There are lakes, reservoirs, forests and tea estates in the surrounding area.
On arrival check in to your hotel.
Later explore the beauty of Munnar town, with gorgeous waterfalls, flower parks and tea estates.

Day 02 At Munnar
After an early breakfast You will start your day with the visit to Eravikullam national park (remains closed from 1 Feb- 31 Mar). The literal meaning of the name transaltes to streams and pools. Eravikullam national park is the part of Neelgiri biosphere reserve and is the home of endnagered Nilgiri thars (mountain Goats). Later visit some other sites i.e, Eco point, Mattupetti Dam and Tea plantations

Day 03 Drive to Thekkady (100 Kms/3hrs)
After breakfast you will be driven to Thekkady. En route visit the Anayirangal dam .
On arrival check in to the hotel.
Later visit the nearby spice plantation. Various kind of spices are cultivated Thekkady and the most abundant of all is Pepper. Other then these, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, turmeric etc are also available here. Later explore the beauty of Munnar town, with gorgeous waterfalls, flower parks and tea estates.
In the Evening you will be taken to visit the nearby Martial art theatre to witness Kalaraipayattu show. Kalaripayattu is a traditional martial art practiced in some parts of Kerala.
On arrival check in to the hotel.

Day 04 Drive to Alleppey (140 Kms/4hrs)
Early morning proceed for the boating at Periyar lake. Morning is the best time for the boat ride as one can see many animals who gather on the banks of lake to drink water.
After breakfast, leave behind the plantations and move towards Alleppey known for pristine backwaters. On arrival board your cruise on the backwaters. A traditional lunch, possibly on a banana leaf in true Keralan style will be served on board.
In the evening disembark your houseboat and move towards the beach town of Marari/Alleppey

Day 05 Drive to Kochi (60 Kms/1.5 hr)
After breakfast you will be driven to Kochi. On arrival check in to your hotel.
Proceed to some important tourist sites Mattancherry Dutch Palace- Built by Portuguese, The beautiful Cochin Synagogue -a centuries old building housing some rare antiques. Later walk to the harbor area and visit the Chinese fishing nets along the shores.
In the evening, visit the Kerala Kathakali center and enjoy the traditional Kathakali dance show.
