Regarding Solo Travel
1) What is the most important thing for Solo Travel?
Purpose is the most important thing and not just for Solo Travel. For solo travel, your purpose can be anything from self-exploration to breaking a monotony and you will feel the urge for it.

3) How will it be called as solo travel if I am taking services from you?
It's not mandatory to take services from us. We are always happy to assist travelers with suggestions, which comes for free. There is no harm in taking suggestions, we believe....
Regarding Group Tours
1) What do you mean by "group tours for solo travelers"? Isn't it a contradiction?
Indeed, but if you give it a thought, you will not find much. Yes, in solo travel you have to make your own arrangements but apart from that other things i.e. traveling with strangers, meeting new people, exploring destinations is same in both. Plus traveling in groups is much lighter on the pockets.
2) How can I book a group tour?
Go to the group tour section of our website. Select the direction you want to go in. Check the available tour your are interested in. Go to the "Tour Dates" section and book the dates which on which you want to travel. Group tours can be booked by just paying an advance amount of ₹2000, upto 2 weeks prior to the departure date. After that full amount needs to paid for booking.
3) How many people are there on the group?
The maximum number of travelers we take in group is 10. Minimum requirement is of 3 travelers to operate the group.
4) Is there any minimum/maximum age requirement to join the group ?
There is no cap on the maximum/minimum age. We have had very senior travelers (over 60 yrs) as well children as young as 14 yrs, on our tours. However the general age group of our travelers is somewhere between 25-40 Yrs.
5)What is the cancellation policy?
The booking amount (INR 2000) is non-refundable. The balance payment is refundable upto 7 days prior to the departure. Our endeavor is to refund the full amount (apart from booking amount) and thus we try to replace the canceled bookings with other bookings up to a day prior to the departure. And if we get replacements, we provide full refunds for the canceled bookings.
6)How safe are group tours for females traveling alone?
Safety is our primary concern and we do everything in our knowledge and authority to provide it to our travelers. Our official tour leader accompanies every group to make sure that things goes safely and smoothly in the journey. Any person found guilty of creating ruckus or discomfort to fellow travelers will be asked to leave the group immediately. In case of harassments, police complaint will be filed by the tour leader and the accused will be treated according to IPC.
7)Can foreign travelers also join the group tours?
Yes, foreign travellers can also join our group tours. However the price and the booking procedure will be slightly different. Foreign travellers, has to send a mail at info@solotravelindia.com first, requesting to join a particular grouop and our team will then guide them with the booking process.
