TOUR ITINERARY
Day 01 Arrive Dehradun/Haridwar & drive to Uttarkashi (5 hrs)
Arrive Dehradun Airport/Haridwar Railway Station on your own by 1200 hrs. Upon arrival, you will be received and driven to Uttarkashi - situated right on the banks of Bhagirathi river.
Overnight at hotel
Day 02 Drive to Harsil, Visit Gartang Gali(80 kms / 3 hrs)
After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Bhairon Ghati (90 kms). On arrival proceed for your registration and start your 2.5 Km trek to Gartang Gali- An Ancient trade route between India and Tibet. The route has been restored and modified for tourists now. The trek also allows you to witness the rich flaura and fauna of the Himalayas.
Later return back to Harsil- A tiny Himalayan hamlet known for its beauty and Apple produce.
On arrival check in to your Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 03 Excursion of Gangotri
Today, you will be taken to the Gangotri- A sacred place for Hindus and one of the "char dhams" in Uttarakhand. As per the spiritual text books, this is the place where Ganga touched the earth, after lord shiva released her form his locks. A beautiful temple dedicated to river goddess, is created here. Apart form its spiritual importance, Gangotri is also one of the most scenic spots on earth.

Day 04 Drive to New Tehri(190 Kms/ 6 hrs)
After breakfast you will be driven back to New Tehri. The old town is submerged under the massive lake created by the Tehri Dam. The lake is now a popular water sports destination in Uttarakhand.
On arrival check in to your Hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Explore the Tehri town or indulges in water sports.

Day 05 Drive to Rishikesh (90 Kms/ 3 hrs)
After breakfast you will be driven to Rishikesh. On arrival check-in to your hotel.
Later explore the city of Rishikesh starting from Lakshman Jhula, ashrams and temples. You can also opt for a rafting trip (direct payment). In the evening attend the magical aarti ceremony on the banks of River Ganges, at Triveni ghat.

Day 06 Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to Dehradun Railway station/Bus Station/Airport to board your flight/train/Bus to onward destination.

Pick & Drop
- Pick up from Haridwar railway station by 1100 Hrs and Dehradun airport by 1200 on Day 1
- Drop to Haridwar railway station by 1100 Hrs and Dehradun airport by 1200 on Day 6

Operational Information:
- Travelers have to make their own arrangements for arrival and departure from Dehradun/Haridwar.
- Adventure activities such as trekking and river rafting are involved and hence travelers should be in good physical condition
- Adventure activities are not mandatory. Travelers can opt out from these activities as these are not part of the tour price
- Twin rooms (two separate beds in a room) are not readily available hence we will provide a double bed for two persons with two separate bedding (blankets/linen).
- Most of the hotels/camps are of standard category and the buffet meals are pretty basic having limited menu. However, hotels/camps do prefer to know your requirement a day prior and will be happy to serve you.
- Solo Travel India reserves the right of cancelling any travelers booking, if he/she is trying to create a ruckus amid tour
- It’s a group tour and hence travelers are requested to keep in mind the comfort of fellow travelers
